Democrats believe that you should give a man a fish and thereby feed him for a day. This is an all together good and virtuous thing to do.

   Republicans believe that if you teach a man to fish, it won’t be long before he needs a Bass Boat and motor, and a trailer to haul the boat, a SUV to pull the trailer and his fishing buddies, a cooler to keep the beer cool, ice for the cooler, beer, a goofy hat, tackle box and tackle, a dozen or so lures, various sizes of fishing line and weights, a BAR-B-QUE  place to stop for lunch, etc. etc. etc.
